WHen I open IE, I get a blank page and the bottom says done. My home page
address shows in the address bar. If I click on the house icon, my home page
will load. How can I make my home page load in the first place?

Reset your home page per the below MS KB article;
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/252464/en-us>

Reboot your computer, attempt to load your home page as per usual and report
back your findings.

It started working again. I'm not sure why.

Thanks for reporting back with your findings.
