BitDefender Compatibility

I was running Bitdefender V7.2 and installed MS
Antispyware Microsoft AntiSpyware Version: 1.0.615
This version expires on: 12/31/2005
Spyware Definition Version: 5761 (9/23/2005 5:27:10 AM)

Product ID: 76831-000-0000012-00123

Both products worked fine together -- until............
I installed the updated BitDefender Professional Plus
V9.0 after uninstalling V7.2; ever since then the
hyperlinks and program lauching is excrutiatingly slooow

Does microsoft or anybody have a fix??
