Anyone been doing any research? (taking photos of the baddies) You get some ok rewards if you do enough of it.

Yep, have completed research on several species, including the Rosie, it's supposed to weaken them.

Yeah, the turrets take damage and dont last long when Rosies about. If you take photos of them when there against you you get rewards for it, eventually you wont have to hack them at all.

I think its worth it to take time, and take a few pics - the denzens of rapture have many hidden bonuses

I've just caught a grenade and thrown it at the debris in the medical room now to get into a new place, it's great fun! I love hacking the flying turrets and have them help out, although I seem to have lost the one I got at the start

Are you playing it in DX10 Ian?

I heard there is not much difference between DX 10 and 9
graphics for the most part are the same- just different water and particle effects

Yep, I'm in DX10 at the moment and it runs really well. Although, I'm now on the 2nd level (the one with 3 little sisters) and I've completed everything apart from getting 2 of them. I've gone and run out of ammo though!

Just been playing for a while, got the invisibility thing and an upgrade for the Crossbow!

I enjoy the upgrading system, the guns have a campy sci-fi look to them
Personally i didnt use the camo tonic, i dont stand around.

I finished Fort Frolic last night, got the faster shooting mod for the shotty now.

I love that level really well done and so detailed!

Thats the bit I'm on now, I've got two of the pictures I need for the first part of the mission plus one of the little sisters.

It looks like it's going to be a good level

I'm in Olympus Heights now, The stories getting good! Dont think i am far from the end now....

Got more weapon upgrades, all but the pistol as i dont use that, Also got most of the level two plasmids, which is good, and i have finished researching all the baddies now.

Anyone that finished this in a day missed so much, you just cant rush it.

Really? for most Splicers i find the pistol with antipersonel rounds to be the most effective way of disposing of them, especially on the hardest difficulty.

first time i played, i just had to keep playing.

2nd and 3rd times were for the sake of exploration, learning locations of everything...

4th time is bring that knowledge together

Shotty with electric buck FTW! Or the Tommy and AP rounds is good too, i just aint a fan of the pistol....
