The other day I downloaded the beta and ran the program
and to my surprise I had over 72 spyware files or programs
on my system. MS spyware beta was a delight to behold.
Cleaned my system and felt pretty good, until I wanted to
install a game and it would not allow the game
installation to commence. Had to turn off MS beta spyware.
This is not good. It makes all cd drives unusable for
installation.

when installing software and games always disable all
your security software because sometimes it might prevent
you from making a succesfull installation.

one good example of this is people who installed sp2 and
didn't disable there antivirus or security tool had some
problem with sp2 installing properly. there's a kb
article about this on microsoft site but i forgot the link

also that they didn't scan there computer with spyware
when they installed sp2. so spyware mess up sp2
installation therefore they encountered problem
