Best Memory program/Crash prevent??

HELP!!

Long story short... I use my computer for voicemail... Everything work
perfect BUT I notice that after several hours/tons of voice calls, my
computer will eventually lock-up... I'm hoping that it is simply some flaws
in Windows 98 SE that does not handle the memory or something....

Therefore... what is the best freeware program that will optimize memory
and/or prevent system crashes in Windows 98 SE?? If anybody could figure
out a way to solve this problem, I'd be grateful.

Sounds like your voicemail program has a resource leak. Win98 has a finite
amount of resources and once they are used up..*poof* then crash or s l o
w. WinXP, on the other hand, doesn't share this problem. Nothing you can
do (with Windws9X, ME) that is free except reboot. RAM "ain't" resources;-)

Its more likely a resource issue.I use w98 and use quick resource
(starting at boot up)in system tray to keep an eye on things.Obviuosly
running that uses resources too..but negligible

If you want to use a memmanager ..then rampage is one of the best..and
freeware.It is debatable whther there is any need for these.Read the
authors comments.
