Best Desktop Search engine for Outlook?

I used to use Enfish Find because it would index everything in Outlook,
including Journal, Calendar, Tasks, etc., and not just Mail and Contacts
(like most desktop search engines ).

But Enfish Find is discontinued, so I've been trying out MSN Search, whose
interface I don't much like.

How's Google Desktop Search? Does it do ALL of Outlook?

Any others I should try? Again, I'm interested only in thos that search ALL
Outlook fodlers, not just Mail.

I did try it earlier last year, and it didn't search the content of .pdfs,
just the metadata. I was wondering if that had changed.

Lookout is great but is being discontinued. It does do *some* other
files outside of Outlook but not all. GoogleDesktopSearch does all of
Outlook as far as I can tell, and with various plugins will do other
types of files. Search the plugins http://desktop.google.com/plugins
(especially the indexing link) to check whether there is a plugin for
the particular file type you need indexed.

But Google Desktop Search seems to have adverse side-effects in Outlook as
well, judging from other posts in this and the other Outlook newsgroups.
