Being able to view pictures in Powerpoint created ona MAC

I recently brought in a PowerPoint presentation on my PC that was created in
Powerpoint for Mac. I cannot view any of the image files and they all state
I need QuickTime and a TIFF (uncompressed) decompresser installed. I have
QuickTime Player installed on my PC, but how do I get a decompressor? Has
anyone seen this problem before? Is there any solution for it?

Will the problem go away if I have QuickTime PRO for windows installed on the
Windows PC?

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that QTPro enables you to play and change
media files but doesn't change the way PPT deals with pictures.
