Batch importing pictures

I often import large numbers of pictures into Powerpoint
2002 via the "New Photo Album" feature. However, the
imported pictures are actually treated as objects -- thus,
I can't crop them.

Is there a way to batch import them as pictures, just as
if I had used the individual Insert Picture command?

You *can* crop the images using most of these 'batch image add-ins' mentioned on the faq pages
