winrnr.dll is the Windows Rock 'n' Roll DLL. Just kidding. winrnr.dll is
the LDAP RnR Provider DLL.
Try this.
Start | Run | Type: system32 | Click OK |
Locate winrnr.dll and drag it to the Desktop.
Wait a minute, then scroll down to the bottom of System32.
There should be a new winrnr.dll showing, if not, hit F5 to refresh.
If you have the new winrnr.dll in system32 delete the one on the Desktop.
If you do not have a new winrnr.dll in system32 drag the one from the
Desktop bacck into system32.
gamechannel.exe is installed alongside Wil Tangent computer games. Stays
resident during the computer's boot-up by default and automatically updates
Wild Tangent games from over the Internet.
WildTangent is not needed unless you play online games and it may not be
needed then.
The deal with WildTangent is it's underhanded method of getting installed on
a users machine without their knowledge. Mostly by being installed along
with other software. That is what makes it foistware.
