Bad audio on video

I am playing a video from a website and I am getting the normal voice and in
the background I am getting a high pitched voice the same as when audio is
playing at High speed.
I am using Windows XP SP2.
Can anyone please help?

If youre video card has updated software/drivers,then go to run,type:
DXDIAG Run the Direct X tests.

are you sure it's not not video itself that has the problem?
