Background Music at XP First Install

L

Larry Negro

I would like to know where to locate the music that is in
the background when you first install XP. I think it
accompanies the opening tutor waiting for you to
resapond, and doesn't repeat anywhere after the first
install. (It's that 'etherial' chordal thing that plays
while waiting for you to initiate the tutor)

Thanks for your help.

1. Right-click on your Desktop and select NEW > SHORTCUT
2. In the resulting box type: C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\images\title.wma
and click NEXT.
3. Type in a name for the shortcut (i.e. Windows Welcome Music) and click FINISH.
4. A shortcut to the music will magically appear on your Desktop.

Do a quick search on "title.wma" (without the quotes) and it will find it
for you.
