Hi, every time i try to make a back up using accessories/tools/backup
wizzard all I get is : abborted, error: volume shadow copy 80042301.
why? anyone got any ideas? many thanks

Was it working previously?

Maybe restoring a restore point in System Restore that pre-dates the problem
might fix the problem.

Alternatively, try using

DriveImage XML

Image and Backup logical Drives and Partitions -
