I went to a site (which I can't remember) a few months ago, and it installed
some software (that I don't know, all I know is that there is a new Internet
Explorer bar), and it caused the IE6 back button to stop working. I tried
reverting back to IE 5 (which I managed to do), but the back button still
doesn't work. I then reinstalled IE6, but the back button still doesn't
work.
Finally I also noticed that half of my history addresses (the drop down list
of addresses) are chopped off.
Is there any remedy to this problem, and can I get uninstall this unwanted
IE bar. When I right click on the IE standard buttons bar, I see that there
is one menu item that is blank. That blank item is the unwanted IE bar.
Finally I am running Windows 2000 Professional
