AVI file

I a trying to play an AVI file that was recorded with a
FujiFilm digital camera(FinePix 4700). Windows Media
player 9.0 will not play the file. There is no error
message. The FujiFilm web site (and others) say the format
is MJPEG. Microsoft says Windows Media Player 9.0 will
not MJPEG AVIs. Whats going on here.

I tried the sane avi file on a computer with XP Media
Player 9.0 and it worked fine. My computer is W2k. Is
there a problem with W2k/Media Player?

Solved my own problem. Copying the file to the hard disk
(from the Smart Media). Still is strange that file plays
from Smart Media on XP
