AVG license number?

M

me aul triangle

I have had AVG since I got this PC almost two years ago and now, out of the
blue, I am being asked to re-activate my program by buying a new license
number. Is this for real does anybody know? Or can anybody tell me where to
get a license number? Hope I don't sound like I'm trying to get something
for nothing because I paid my supplier to put AVG Professional on my PC when
I switched to Broadband.

would expect from a professional antivirus product, plus much more...

AVG Pro is a two year license. You have to pay Grisoft another $17 plus
change for another 2 years.
Of you could uninstall it and use the Free Version from Grisoft. The paid
version gives you technical help and a priority server for downloading the
update files. The free version does not allow for technical support and you
share a download server with the millions of other free version users. You
can get the free version here:

If you choose the Free Version, be sure to uninstall the existing version
and delete all the folders before you install the free version.
PS the two year update price is a lot less than buying Norton or McAfee.
