Autofile text box

When typing text into a cell, Excel will sometimes autofill in what I have
previously typed into another cell. If I have many cells to type, I do not
want it auto filling. How do I stop Excel from doing this.

If you mean that you have for instance type California in cell A2 then in A2
you want to type Canada but as soon you start it fills it with California?
Normally it is actually a great help if you do a lot of text entries but it
can be turned off at

tools>options>edit and clear "enable autocomplete for cell values"
