Autoexnt problem issue

S

Steve

I want to run a simple batch file at the start of Win2k,
before the login windows.

I alredy copy the 3 files (autoexnt.exe, servmess.dll and
instexnt.exe)

I run instexnt install

I see the autoexnt service and the service Start
Automatically at each re-boot. Unfortunately my batch
dosent start...

If I try manualy to run NET START AUTOEXNT my batch file
run perfectely IF the autoexnt service is close. But if my
Autoexnt service is alredy running nothing happen...

Hoe can this service open at each reboot and run my
batchfile... Im lost...

Thanks

The autoexnt service is a legacy method for running tasks
at boot time. These days you can do the same thing with
the Task Scheduler, with far greater flexibility.
