Autodesk Map 3d 2005 & XP

Hi all:

I have all my XP updates installed, and I have had problems with the
Autodesk product mentioned.

I get the message:

Exception in c:\program files\autodesk Map 3d 2005\acadmap.arx ARX command
Unhandled Exception E0000001 (e0000001h) at address 77E73887h

Autodesk has recommended that I reinstall my XP software which I am
louth to do.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Make sure you are using the video drivers and same of them
version that Autodesk has certified to run Autocad. Try
changing the rendering mode used by Autocad to interface
with the video drivers. (OpenGL vs. Heidi vs. DirectDraw,
etc)
If you encounter any more problems, contact Autodesk.

Thanks for pointing me in that direction.
I am using an ATI Radeon 9800 card with 128mb ram.
