autocorrect formatted text

I use outlook 7 and need to type m2 with the 2 as superscript. in the
autocorrect feature, it will not let me use formatted text. I have set my
email to rtf format, but still the formatted text option is grayed out.

Outlook 7 = Outlook 95. Are you really using Outlook 95? In an email
message, did you type m2 with the 2 as superscript? Did you select m2
with the 2 as superscript *before* clicking on AutoCorrect?
