format an AutoCorrect entry

I need to format an AutoCorrect entry - change type face and colour etc. The
PlainText & Formatted text Radio Buttons always seem to be greyed out. How
to I 'switch' them on?

Hippo,
If I understand you correctly you want to change the unformatted autocorrect
entry into a formatted one.
Type the text you want as replacing text, format it as you like, select it
and go to the AutoCorrect options menu and activate the radio button for the
formatted text. Now type in the text you want replaced and hit apply. If the
text already exist you will be asked to replace the entry, say yes and you
should be alright.
