autocomplete suggestions lost/reset

One of my users reported to me today that the autocomplete function of
Outlook 2003 seems to have reset itself. It no longer completes any
addressees from anything older than today. The Suggest Names while
completing…. Box is checked, and the Outlook.NK2 file has tons of data in it.
Any ideas on how to recover the lost addresses?

Thanks

Create a new mail profile, then rename the existing NK2 file's name to match
the name of the new profile. If the NK2 file is not damaged, that should
restore Outlook's access to it. If course, if POP access to a mail server
is used and copies of messages are left on the server when they are
downloaded, Outlook will believe all the messages are new and redownload
them. A duplicate remover can clear that up, though.
