An aquaintance, of mine yesterday. Upgraded from
an "ancient" Win 95 system. to a decent XP system. Tried
to install Autocad 12 on it and gets a "System Error,
Divide by Zero or Overflow Error." I have NO idea how to
fix it so thought i'd try a post here. Should be reverse
compatible no?

Check the AutoCad site for this info but only certain versions of their
software are compatible with XP.

Greetings --

You'll have to check with AutoCAD's manufacturer, AutoDesk, but I
doubt very much that so old a version can be made WinXP compatible.
