Auto text and auto correct

Can anyone tell me how to say the auto text and auto
correct that I have added to a floppy disc and then
transfer it to another computer using the same Word
2000? If I uninstall Word 2000 and then reinstall it, I
lose all the tons of auto text and auto correct I have
entered. I want to be able to transfer that info to a
floppy in case i want to put it on another computer or
lose it on this one and then i will not have to manually
enter each one again.

Also, somehow I have lost the ability to do word count
with and without characters, etc. How do I fix that
without uninstalling and reinstalling. Again, if i have
to uninstall and reinstall i will lose all my auto text
and auto correct unless I am able to save it. Thanks for

Metrauma, can't help you with the word count problem, but so far as your
AutoText and AutoCorrect entries are concerned, here goes:

1-Your AutoText entries are stored in Normal.dot. Just save a copy of that
onto your floppy and transfer it to your new computer.
2-Your AutoCorrect entries are a little more involved. Please refer to this
Knowledge Base article: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=207748 ("How to
