Attn: Jupiter - Hotmail Links Not Working After SP2 Install.

Please Help Jupiter,

After installing SP2, my links within my hotmail messages
no longer work, amongst other things. I upgraded my MSN
Messenger to 6.2 which fixed some problems but not the
failing links problem. I have also disabled my Windows
Messenger as I use my webcam and need MSN Messenger for
that, so I am told. Do you have any suggestions as to
how I would fix this problem.
PS. I posted this error in the Messenger Newsgroup but
got no response - I need my hotmail links functioning
desperately.

Re-register all DLLs listed in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679

To assure a clean install, your anti-virus application should be disabled
and all other running processes closed before installing anything, including
Windows Updates.

Thanks Robear,

Unfortunately, none of these things worked.
The first applied to my situation so I checked my HTTP
folder options as suggested. These were correct.
Checked the other site listed, but still no luck. If you
can think of anything else, I'd appreciate it.

Let's back up a bit then: What happens when you click on a link in a Hotmail
message, Lara? Do links elsewhere work properly?
