Atlantis Nova - slipping away?

REM

I was going to send a link for Atlantis Nova to an email requesting
info. I noticed the freeware isn't listed on the new site. Going to
the forum I see:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The English version of Atlantis Nova (released on February 2001) is
still on our server:

http://www.AtlantisWordProcessor.com/download/atlant10n_en.exe

But we do not advertise this old version through our site anymore.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Redistribution is specifically prohibited, so if you're a pack rat
like me you might want to grab a copy. The final version seems to be
v1.0.0.68. That's pretty bad, 2001 and I still wasn't using the
current version...

This is a small, well behaved editor for text and .rtf, without a
spell checker, for anyone unaware of the program.

Thanks, REM. I'm updating, had an old version.

Thanks, REM. I'm updating, had an old version.

I just saw another thread after posting, originating here:

<[email protected]>

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://www.atlantiswordprocessor.com/download/atlant10n_en.exe
(767 KB) v 1.0.0.68 The .exe is dated 2005-11-17

FWIW - my hunch is that this version (previous version was 1.0.0.66)
is just an update of the contact information and revision of
information about the $ware version.

Actually, I am reading the license in the installer now, and it says:

"You may install the Software and create as many copies of the Software
on storage media as you wish.
You may redistribute the Software freely on on-line services, bulletin
boards, or other electronic media as long as the files are distributed
in their entirety. The Software may not be distributed on CD-ROM, disk,
or other physical media for a fee without the permission of Rising Sun
Solutions, Inc."

So, it might be a good idea to put some of these online, IMO..
