ATI Driver problem

The drivers for my ATI Mobillity Radeon 7500 won't work on xp embedded. When
installing the drivers I keep getting a message: Fatal error, try first
installing a standard VGA driver. Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks for any response,

Do you have the required support components for graphics adapters? Also,
is it the Catalyst drivers you're using, or card-specific ones?
Personally I have had no problems using the Catalyst drivers with a
modified .inf file to include the PNP ID for my cards (an IGP 9000 and a
PCI Radeon 7000)

What have you changed in the .inf, maybe it works for me to?

I have added the following line, amongst the other lines of a similar
type, having got the device number from the installer specific to the card.
"ATI RADEON 9000/9100 PRO IGP Series" = ati2mtag_RS350,
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5835
Find the correct Device ID for your card, open the inf file in the
catalyst installer (CX_23864.inf and C2_23864.inf in the version I have)
and then copy a line for a similar card. Paste that back in and change
it to something like
"My Hacked Driver" = ati2mtag_RS350, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5835
and replace the 5835 on the end with the Device ID for your card. If you
still can't install that, you're missing some components. Try adding the
component for a similar card, resolving your dependencies then removing it.

I'am not quite sure I understand it, could you post the content of the inf
here?
No, but if you send me an .inf (my email is valid) and tell me what the
Device ID for your card is, I'll edit it for you and send it back.
