ATI 9200 AGP resolution reboot

I have a Dell 4600 P4 2.8MHz, 512 MB RAM PC, WinXP SP2.
I recently installed an ATI Radeon 9200 128MB video card. Stuff looks real
purty now. BUT...two issues. My wife has some goofy games she plays that
lower the res on the monitor. Previously (on my INTEGRATED video!) the res
woulds revert to standard when the game was shut off. Now it stays lowered
and crappy. Fine, I'll just reset it. Now the real fun starts. When I try to
reset the resolution back (I usually keep it on 1024x768), it tells me I have
to restart my PC. This is when I have the preferences set to reset the res
without restart. I set it to ask before a change, and it does, and I tell it
to apply the changes w/o restart, and it STILL tells me I have to restart. I
have the latest drivers. HELP!!
Thanks,
Chuck

NOT an XP issue. Read the docs for your new hardware.
