assigned task won't update

Problem:
I can assign a task to someone. They can accept it and mark it as completed.
But when I receive the updated Email, it doesn't update the task on my task
list.

I also noticed that when they receive the task, it displays the following
message:
"This task was delegated to more than one person. Updates will not be
tracked..."

We get this message even though the task was assigned to only one person.
