Assigned Shortcut Keys (like to calculator) now respond exactly 30 sec. after
they are pressed. I use a couple of differant programs like calculator that
I have set some keyboard shortcuts (Icon / Properties / Shortcut Key)
(ctrl+num0) Suddenly they started taking exactly 30 sec. to respond. Does
anyone have any Idea why or how I can change this? Is there a Reg setting
for such things? I tried to reenter the keys, and tried differant keys and
differant shortcuts, all respond the same.

have you checked the computer for spyware? there are lots of programs
available free of charge that may help with this. you mat also wish to try:

start/run/msconfig > startup and check whats running in the background.

I run Norton System Works, Microsoft Beta, Ad -Aware, and Spybot S&D
Norton and Microsoft Beta run in back ground always. Windows Automatic
update, and office update once a month. This acts more like some program has
change something in my system, I just dont know what.
