Arranging View Order in Contacts

I use Outlook 2002. My computer crashed and I reinstalled info on new
computer. Now in Contacts the names are alphabetical by first name, rather
than alphabetical by last name. I have tried options, view, etc. How do I
change this back to alphabetical by last name? Thanks.

Go to Control Panel-> Mail-> E-mail Accounts-> View or change existing
directories or address books-> select Outlook Address Book-> Change.
At the bottom you can set the way the names are sorted.

Robert -

Thanks for the help. I did as you suggested and ticked last first in the
control panel options. Unfortunately, it did not change. Is there something
else I can try? Thanks again for your assistance.

Did you stop and restart Outlook?

Yes, Brian, I restarted the whole computer after ticking the last, first
option. Is there another way of doing this in View or Options in Outlook
itself?
