"Arrange icons by" missing options in the submenu

Hi, I am trying to arrange my photos by the date taken in chronological
order. Typcially when I am in my folder of pictures, I right click and
choose, "Arrange icons by," and there is a submenu that pulls up with
"Picture taken on" which is perfect and my pictures are easily organized
chronologically in order. However, in other folders, the "Picture taken on"
option does not exist...only "Name", "Size," "Type" and "Modified." I don't
know how to restore the "Picture taken on" option. Does anyone know why the
option is there in some folders and not in others?

Try this...go to...View / Details...
Right click the bar that appears
above the list of files and you
should see a long menu that says
"More" at the bottom. Choose...
More...and check your choices of
attributes.

The choices you make here should
show in your...
....View / Icons / "Arrange By" menu...

No big problem.
Right click on Name on the column heading.
A list will open. Click on More at the bottom of it and then select Date
picture taken on the list of displayed items.. A new column will be added in
your detail view, Date Picture Taken, and you are in business.
