Are these all related?

I had my system running pretty good untill I had to do a Repair Install, now
it is running faulty again. I get all these on start up:

IS THERE ANY HELP FOR ME?
P.S. I do not have the two wire lead connected from the ROM to the sound
card. could thet be part of the problem?

The only thing I can say for certain is, you don't need an audio cable to
sound card for the CD drive with XP...
