Archiving shared public mail folder to DVD?

I'm running out of headroom on my exchange server and would like to remove
some older shared folders after I create some form of archive on either a dvd
or cd rom disk.

I have already tried archiving to a .pst file on the desktop, but get a
reponse that the folder cannot be archived?

I suggest you post this to the Exchange group as they would be the experts in this area and would have a much better idea of what tools are offered and what to be aware of.
