approval routing

I am currently researching the use of Outlook 2003 as a workflow for
review/approval routing. Any information is appreciated. The process would
allow a Change Request to be routed to a 12 member committee for review and
approval/reject process without receiving 12 individual emails.

Are you using Sharepoint Portal Server?

Thanks for your reply. Yes we are using sharepoint / infopath. In my
reaserch I found web information stating Sharepoint does not have approval
routing capability [only previous releases]. We are testing
Sharepoint/Infopath - but I thought I would look at Outlook to see if the
process could be achieved. The objective is to attach assign or post the
review document, notify the committee members, have each member review /
comment without causing a dozen emails/notifications for every MCR.
Currentlythere are 20-30 MCRs to be reviewed.
