applications automatically minimizes while in activation

My problem begins when I am playing Hoyle Card Games 2004,
(Sierra Entertainment). The software installs fine, but
when I open it and begin to play any of the games, it
minimizes the window to taskbar. When I maximize it, it
will play for 1-3 minutes and then minimize again. This
constantly recurs each time I open the application and
begin to play any of the games. This is the only software
I have that has this problem. Can anyone think of a
solution?
