Application software shuts down by itself

On loading standard package software than has been working
for months, as soon as it loads, the software closes down.
Sometimes the programs stay open for about 10 seconds then
go off.

I've tried restore, no changes, full virus sweeps, nothing
found.

Any ideas what could be doing this

I'am not sure, but I think this can happen when you delete needed Temp
Files.

First step, uninstall the ware, reboot, install it fresh.
