I keep coming up with the same error everytime I shut down internet explorer
6. It says:
iexplor.exe - application error
The instruction at "0x01c21ea8" referenced memory at "0x01c2ea8". The memory
could not be "read"

Anyone know how to fix this??

Thanks

Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log
to an appropriate forum.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with
assistance from an expert. **Post your log to

analysis, not here.**

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.

You are infected. The filename for Internet Explorer is iexplorE.exe
(capitalization added for emphasis). The executable you should be using
is at "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"; however, a pest
can use any filename it wants as long as another file in the same folder
doesn't already use that filename.
