Everytime I close Firefox Windows gives me this error:
"Application popup: firefox.exe - Application Error : The instruction at
"0x01e07bc3" referenced memory at "0x01e41148". The memory could not be
"read"."
"Application popup: firefox.exe - Application Error : The instruction at
"0x01e07bc3" referenced memory at "0x01e41148". The memory could not be
"read"."
"Application popup: firefox.exe - Application Error : The instruction at
"0x02247bc3" referenced memory at "0x02271148".
The memory could not be
"read"."

It seems to always be those 2 combinations.

I already tried that.
I was hoping someone could shed some light on what the error message means.
I mean, is it a problem with the program, with Windows, is my RAM fried?

Here is one of the results from a google search:

"I have had this problem also and have cured it by inactivating one of
the 'benign' BHOs (Browser Helper Objects) attached to IE. In my case it
was one that came with 'Solid Converter' a PDF conversion program,
although it is possible that many poorly written BHOs could cause this.

Download BHO Demon and inactivate all of the BHOs, if the problem goes
away then activate each one in turn until you find the varmint and
switch it off permanently."

It's a problem with Firefox, the key is the "Application Error" part of
the message. Apparently as Firefox closes it's trying to complete some
kind of maintenance operation. The instruction is calling for data from
a memory location that can't be accessed.
Since memory is handled differently between NT based OS'es and 9X
why not try and modify the shortcut for Firefox to use compatibility
mode ( Windows ME/98 ) and see if Firefox can close properly. Also
it could be dependency issues. What if any Add-ons do you have running
that might be hooking into Firefox ( Java, Flash, Adobe Reader... ) and
are all those up to date ?

Hi,

Have you tried FF in its Safe Mode (not Windows Safe Mode)? It may be a
theme or extension causing the error. Launch it from the FF program
folder in All Programs.

Report back,
