Application error

Hightide

Here's a good one for you. For some unknown reason, as the computer boots
up, occasionally there is a window that says: ATI video bios poller. Ati
EVXX.EXE application error.
In the body of the message it says:
The instruction at "0X7c911639" referenced memory at 0X008b3005, the memory
could not be "read"
I contacted Microsoft and was told that I had to contact Dell. I called
Dell and they sent a tech to correct the problem. He replaced the memory
twice, and the motherboard once. Finally they sent me a new computer. I
installed the old hard drive in the new machine and guess what? It does the
same thing. I've emailed ATI (lots of luck) they never responded. The same
thing goes for Microsoft (again.) I even emailed Symantec, and was told to
reboot, da..... Has customer support gone down the drain, or is it me? Does
anyone have any ideas. Obviously, it's a problem with the bios.
