Application Error - Outlook crashes

Hi all,
I have this problem where at least four times a day I open an email and
Outlook crashes, and wants to send an error log to MS.
I've gone to the event view and the following error details were shown.
Date 16/11/2005
source: Applicatoin Error
Time 11:30:1
Category: None
User n/a
Event ID: 1000
Description:
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 9.0.0.6604, faulting module
outllib.dll, version 9.0.0.6627 fault address 0x00011b0c0.

I had 3000 emails in my inbox last week, and though it did improve
performance it didn't help out in this respect.

Can anyone shed any light on this, or point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Greg

First thing I would try is renaming outcmd.dat to outcmd.dat_old WHILE
Outlook is closed, then open Outlook. If that's unsuccessful, then you could
try the following:

rename outllib.dll to outllib.old
rename contab32.dll to contab32.old
run detect and repair from the help menu

If this is unsuccessful, rename them back to original.

Ensure all SP's are applied/reapplied. Check to see if you're running any
add-ins. If you are, remove them one at a time to see if one of them are
causing the problem.

Good luck and let us know what happens.
