It means you are displaying hidden files and those are the hidden files that
Word creates when working. You need only worry - a bit - if they remain when
Word is closed. In that case see - http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm
You can limit what you see in the File open dialog by changing from all
files - to all Word documents.
