Anyone who uses Windows 2008 Server on the Desktop

Anyone who uses Windows 2008 server on the desktop as a replacement to Vista
doesn't have all their marbles. Just FYI. A Server product is designed
differently than Vista which is a desktop operating system. Just FYI.

The cost of Windows 2008 server is more. Certain applications do not run on
Windows 2008 Server that run on Vista. Other applications like virus
protection software can't be moved from one system to another . Special
versions need to be put on each specific operating system.

Remember when certain people tell you to install Windows 2008 Server on the
desktop, ignore the request. They are just brain damaged.

Just FYI

Arguably the same is true (if not more so) when people advise you to upgrade
from XP Pro to Vista.

Just FYI. ;-)
