Any Way to Identify Home Page If Not Using Index.html

Dave

A URL points to a particular address that is NOT index.html. As a result,
when I publish my FP 2002 site to that location, I cannot use index.html or
index. htm as my home page file name. The site looks fine but FP 2002 will
not identify the "main" page as a home page (apparently because my home page
is called something other than index.htm. etc.). Instead, FP identifies the
page as a "parent" page. since it sits at the top of the hierarchy. The
result is my navigation banners will not identify the page as "Home" and
instead I am stuck with "Up". Is there any way for me to "tell" FP 2002
that the parent page is the home page (and have it identified as such in the
nav banners)? Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

Ask your host what they have set as the 1st one and use that
( usually index .htm or .html Or default. htm or .html )

As I noted in my message, I am trying to determine if I can set an attribute
for a parent page in FP 2002 to identify that the parent page is the home
page (for navigation purposes). I have the site up and it looks fine. I
would just like my "home" page to be identified as such in FP. I know the
location that the URL is pointing to and that is where the parent page is
located. It is not index.hem or index.html or default.htm etc.

Not possible when using FP navigation components, as the default (home) page is not named in any
hyperlink generated.
