Antivirus: Smallest update file sizes?

Sadly, I am stuck on a dial-up for the foreseeable future. I have a new
Everex laptop with Vista Home Premium with 90-day trial of Norton. Once the
trial is up, I will opt for another product. Small, regular updates that I
can download quickly are important. What product offers the smallest
update/definition file sizes?

AVG, if you download the newest version, updates frequently (1 or 2 days),
and the updates are between 1/4 MB to 1 MB in size. Not too bad.

Norton usually has quite a bit.
