AntiSpyware - System Explorers

G

Guest

I have installed the software on two different machines : 1 with Win200
Professional where the software works perfectly.
However on a machine that runs WinXP Pro there is a problem with the :
Advanced Tools > System Explorers. Nothing appears in the left pane of the
window. I would like to block a few startup options.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Archie

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware

Disable Microsoft AntiSpyware in the notification area, right click the
bulls eye icon, click "Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware" Go into Control Panel
Ad/Remove Programs and uninstall Microsoft AntiSpyware. Navigate
c:\Program files and delete the Microsoft AntiSpyware folder.

Restart and install Microsoft AntiSpyware to a non-default location such as
c:\MSAS

Registering a VB6 dll seems to fix missing agents:
1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware
4) If that fails, install VB6 runtime files:
