AntiSpyware Hangs

Several features on MS Anti-Spyware won't work or it just
sets there with the hour glass for the mouse. It was
working when I first installed it, but some how it has
stopped working correctly.

For example I go into "Real Time Protection" and
click "view 100 active events" it will set there forever
and not load display anything.

If I attempt to view the individually, the same thing
happens. I have tried to uninstall, reinstall, but that
doesn't seem to work. I have a fast enought machine 1.8
GHz, and have 1 GB of Ram and run Windows XP Pro.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

When you uninstall the app make certain to delete the
entire MSAS folder from c:\program files, reboot the
system, and then reinstall the app.

You can try the following (from Engel) as well it that
doesn't help:

Registering a VB6 dll seems to fix missing agents:
1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without
the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware
4) If that fails, install VB6 runtime files:
