after splashscreen"
-----Original Message-----
I reinstalled win xp pro and then the antispyware.
Installed well without apparent problem, but when I try
to run the program the splash screen disappears quickly
and I am unable to access the main menus.
It appears to run in the background as it does detect
spyware; however i cannot bring up the main screen to
view spyware or quarantined items.
Any help would ne appreciated. This has been great
software to date.

I have the same problem!, the first days worked ok, but
in the last days began this problem. When Open MSAS
through the icon on the system tray (showing Active),
appear splash screen, then aprox. 1 minute later appear
the windows with only upper menus (Files, Options, Tools,
Help) but inside windows is empty and don't work nothing.
I tried reinstalling
after uninstall and deletion of
remaining program elements in the "Programs" folder.
Also tried a repair from the Add/Remove
dialogue, DISABLED and ENABLED FIREWALL, DISABLED and
ENABLED Norton Internet Security.....still doesn't
function.
Using:
NORTON INTERNET SECURITY 2005.
Windows XP Pro version 2002(SPANISH), SP2, with 2 users
accounts Administrators,
Pentium 4, 2.66 GHz, 512 MB RAM.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Are you running the program under the administrator
account that was used to install the application?

If not, this could be the cause, as the current release
only supports ONE administrator account, the one that was
used to install the application. The reason for this is
to ensure that all file permissions are kept intact when
running from another account.

I try run the program under each account, but fail in
both cases. I try run a older version of MSAS (originally
worked OK), but now fail too.

Sorry that it took my this long to reply.

I suggest uninstalling MSAS. Delete the entire MSAS
folder in c:\program files, reboot the system, and
reinstall MSAS.
