AntiSpyWare Beta failure Win 2k, framewrok 1.1

Glenn

system: windows 2000 professional, sp4 with updates,
framework 1.1 with update, MSN Messenger 6.2 latest update
antispyware 1.0.509 works similar to 1.0.501

I have had my install of MS antispyware start failing. The
system explorers now have none, all three alerts show "25
of 25 internet alerts active".

real time protection screen shows:
Security Agents Status: active.... * 18 agents active

Internet, system and application agents : active

Under internet agents: shows only Windows Hosts File
agent, the hightlighted text area moves up and down with
the verticle scroll bar.

status: in-active with activate link..
0 of 1 checkpoints monitored

inside system and application agents:
status: inactive, with de-activate link
0 of 0 checkpoints monitored

*note: clicking de-activate can cause all three to show
inactive, but can reactivate only 2 of 3

there are many lines of serious errors in the error log
file such as:

I have the same problem with Windows XP. And only on one
of three users. One user don't have System Explorers and
the Realtime Protection works as desribed below. With the
other two users I don't have this problem.

Thanks very much.. The update fixed the errors.... funny
it didn't show up on windows update... maybe needs to be
added as a global fix.... but this process worked anyway...
