Another File Import Problem

Sorry if this has been hashed over many times before. I have a Panasonic HDD
Video Camera that saves the files as mpeg2 & when I drag & drop them into
MM2.1 for XP, I get an error message that the file is not compatible. It
seems like MM2.1 is missing codecs but I have the box checked for it to
automatically download codecs. I'm a newbie to MM so possibly I'm just
missing something simple. Your Thoughts?

MM rarely works with mpegs, so move the files onto your pc hdd, then convert
them to wmv using something like windows media encoder or super

Then import this file into MM.
