annoying software

does anyone out there have a clue how i can get rid of or
fix this annoying thing that comes up all the time i boot
up and it says "Windows Installer" then it says Sonic
update mananger, i let it search and then it says its on
a network resource that is unavailable and then i click
cancel and it tries to install over and over while i am
clicking cancel after a thousand times of pressing cancel
it goes away

In start menu run menu type :msconfig.!then you can select item you want load from tabs !software u don't want can't load
